You should 100% be monetising your live workshops! Schools have money!! I'm in NZ and schools have money. They should too in the UK! Schools send staff out for professional development all the time, and some of those PDs are expensive. Schools would be wise to have you join them, and they can totally afford you! I've shared this with my UK teacher friends. Good luck !!

Thank you Angela for your thoughts and for sharing with teachers in the UK! That's great! I know there are many underfunded schools in more deprived areas which is what most interests me, but also many schools with funds 'swashing around' (as my old university used to say) that they don't know what to do with! I'm hoping visits to the UK will be regular and so on this trip I'm just concerned with getting as many workshops in as possible and then maybe that will set things up for regular funded trips where I also make free workshops, and more collaborations generally! I also wouldn't mind touring NZ, at all! ;)

Sounds amazing 😍.

Wishing you all the best in this endeavour. I wish I would have had something like this in my double periods of french. Hopefully you can revolutionise how language is taught in schools!!
